Pennzoil Gearplus 80W-90 GL-5 is specially formulated gear oil designed to withstand the demands of today's stop and go driving. It is recommended for use in automotive and commercial differentials, manual transmissions and industrial gear units where API Service GL-5, SAE 80W-90 or 80W-90 GL-5 viscosity grades are specified. It is especially suited for limited-slip differentials as make-up or refill fluid and is an excellent replacement fluid for rebuilt limited-slip units. Because of its unique formulation, Gearplus 80W-90 GL-5 does not need a limited-slip top treatment nor is one recommended. Gearplus 80W-90 is thermally stable gear oil that meets or exceeds the performance requirements of API GL-5 and MT-1 specifications and is suitable for use in high performance differentials including racing and sports cars.
