It depends on your torsion bars and leafsprings as well. When you compare shock absorbers performance with other different brands, you should compare it with the same set of spring and torsion bars. This way you can know the true results. Others may say this is better than the others, is it really apply to your cars?
I use Ulimate shocks, torsion bars and leafsprings with add-a-lift plates. Front suspension is comprise of oil foam shocks (previous gas one were leaked), torsion bar with progressive (tapered). Rear suspension is comprise of gas-filled shocks with ultimate leafspring and add-a-lift. My Pajero handles very satisfactory, but it ratter stiff. Sometime I think the shocks were not even part of the suspension because the springs were too stiff and the shocks don't help at all. So,...consider not only the shock absorbers, but with the whole suspension set if it match with your car driving load, springs and condition of the roads. choosing shock adsorbers just selecting brands....
